I am an artist originally from Texas but now reside in Southern California. I have been featured in the instructional magazine Create and Decorate. I will also be in the issue that comes out in Dec 08 and 2 future issues. I am so excited about this and am looking forward to creating many more items to put on the website. All items are signed and dated with a different scripture on each item. I believe that each item goes to a certain person and that the scripture that is chosen is specifically for that person. Click image to enlarge Springy HP Gourd Birdhouse I have painted a pear shaped gourd birdhouse. It is painted all the way around. It has a 1" hole for the entry and has drain holes in the bottom. It is sealed with indoor outdoor varnish for protection. It's heighth is 8.5" tall and 22.5" at its widest point around. It has a hanger and a perch. It also has a green raffia bow with homespun around the bow. It has 5 little bunnies peaking through the fresh spring grass and daisys. It also has 4 springy birdhouses painted on it as well. This is a very cheery birdhouse and would take away the winter glooms for anyone. It is quite the reminder that the beautiful flowers and sunshine are upon us. I have painted a basket that stands 6" tall excluding the handle. It is 10 3/4 from the top of the lid to the bottom and 9 3/4 side to side of the lid. I have painted several dogwood flowers and vine around the lid. In the center I have painted a sheep with a pennyrug that says Blessings. This is a pattern created by Terrye French. I have changed some of it not much. It is painted around the rim in a medium hauser green and the lacing on the basket is done in Rockwood red. This would be a cute storage basket for washcloths or your favorite sewing supplies. The possibilities are endless with this basket. It is sealed in indoor matte varnish for protection.
